The Crowd Within

This is an ongoing series of large-scale charcoal on paper works that examines the multiplicity of identity and the psychological landscapes we carry inside us. In these works, the figure becomes a site of fragmentation and reconstruction, a visual manifestation of memory, emotion and thought merging into one another. The Crowd Within invites viewers to confront the layered nature of human consciousness: the selves that protect us, contradict us, challenge us, and ultimately reveal who we are beneath the surface.
