JotDown Magazine: Conceptual Editorial Illustrations

This series consists of three conceptual illustrations created for articles published in JotDown Magazine (conceptual project), executed as part of my academic work during the Erasmus+ exchange at UDIT in Madrid. The goal was to develop visually complex and thought-provoking images that capture the essence of challenging journalistic topics.
I utilized a mixed-media approach combining digital collage and illustration to create layered, symbolic, and high-impact editorial imagery. The methodology involves blending textural, illustrative elements and digital drawing to produce a surreal, detailed, and contemporary aesthetic. This mixed technique allows for deep conceptual representation while maintaining the strong graphic quality required for print and digital editorial use. The themes for the articles were: The Financial Brain, Pirates of Science and The Paradigm of Tyranny.
