THE OTHER - MAGAZINE

This magazine’s concept is the result of merging two themes and a graphic aspect that focuses on weird matches of objects and things, creating collage-type visuals. Have you ever found yourself feeling melancholic over something that hasn’t happened, but could have?The topic explores the spaces between what is and what could have been by analyzing one’s life and imagining a different life that could have unfolded if one decision was made differently. The magazine aims to be a visual exploration of narratives, realities, and collision of opposites. This project was a comprehensive group editorial design and layout assignment executed during my Erasmus+ program at UDIT, supervised by Pedro Parra Moyano. We established a signature look using collage-type visuals that deliberately feature "weird matches of objects and things." This approach visually represents the collision of realities and the merging of disconnected life elements. The final output was a fully realized magazine prototype developed from concept through to print specifications.

This was a group academic project created solely for portfolio purposes as part of a university course at UDIT. It is not an actual publication, nor is it commissioned by any external entity. It was entirely self-initiated for educational goals under the supervision of the lecturer, Pedro Parra Moyano.
